Certified Star Award 2025: Guests vote for the best and most popular hotels

On 30 September 2025, the winners of the Certified Star Award 2025 were announced at Assistants’ World at Kap Europa in Frankfurt.

The HOTEL MUTTERHAUS DÜSSELDORF is a certified conference hotel and is characterised by its high quality of facilities and service.

The hotel came second in the category ‘Certified Conference Hotel up to 150 Rooms’ and received the Certified Star Award in recognition of this. Travellers and conference participants chose their favourites from 75 nominated hotels. Between mid-May and mid-September, votes could be cast either traditionally by card in the hotels or digitally. A total of 16,976 valid votes were received (2,598 by card, 14,378 digitally), a strong indication of the relevance of this award.

The Certified Star Award is considered an important seal of quality in the hotel industry: it honours establishments that impress with outstanding service quality, guest orientation and sustainable commitment – and above all through the votes of the guests themselves.

Certified Managing Director Till Runte said: ‘We are delighted with the tremendous support from guests and business customers. The result impressively demonstrates how important service quality, reliability and sustainability are when choosing a hotel.’

Representatives from the bSb Bundesverband Business Professionals e.V. and IMA International Management Assistants Germany e.V. also took to the stage to express their gratitude. They emphasised how important objective hotel reviews are as a guide for assistants and international guests.

This year’s results send a clear signal: quality, authenticity and sustainability are key factors in hotel selection – both for business travellers and companies.
