Certified PharMed Hotel designation – transparency and compliance

The Hotel Mutterhaus Düsseldorf is proud to be designated a Certified PharMed Hotel. This confirms that we meet all the requirements of the FSA Code (Voluntary Self-Regulation for the Pharmaceutical Industry) and are suitable as a venue for pharmaceutical and medical conferences.

In the area of compliance, special requirements apply to pharmaceutical and medical conferences – especially for continuing medical education courses that are financially supported by the pharmaceutical industry. They are subject to strict legal requirements and the guidelines of professional associations. In the past, hotels could apply for the ‘code-compliant’ seal, but this was increasingly criticised because it gave the impression that the entire training course was automatically compliant with regulations.

As a Certified Conference Hotel, we are entitled to display the ‘Certified PharMed Hotel’ logo. This mark confirms that we have carried out a comprehensive self-evaluation in accordance with the current codes – without any deviations from the requirements.

For Certified Hotels, information and training events are regularly offered in cooperation with the PharMed Forum. This allows us to always acquire the latest expertise on the subject of the ‘Pharmaceutical Code’.
