Tree of wishes

for the new Friederike Fliedner Hospice Kaiserswerth

The this years Christmas decoration in the hotel Mutterhaus is combined with a special action: the Christmas tree has been transformed to a „tree of wishes“ by the hotel staff. In addition to the glittering Christmas ornaments the tree is decorated with many wish cards asking the guests for donations to the Friederike Fliedner Hospice, which will open next spring. Until December 21st all guests, employees and visitors are invited to take one of these wish cards.

Christine Taylor, managing director oft the funding foundation of the Kaiserswerther Diakonie, and Markus Mönninghoff, the hotel manager, emphazise, that it is a matter close to the heart to give dying people a chance for a dignified farewell.
