„What Google really wants“

Spiegel-correspondent Thomas Schulz presents his new book

Billions of users „google“ through the internet every day. Google is our navigator through our everyday life and our gateway to the world. Thomas Schulz, Silicon-Valley-correspondent of the Spiegel, provides in his new book “Was Google wirklich will: Wie der einflussreichste Konzern der Welt unsere Zukunft verändert“ a one-of-a-kind close-up view on the most powerful corporation of the world. The journalist has exclusive access to the otherwise so discreet corporation. He provides insights into Google’s secret laboratories and the mindset of the management. On Friday, 6 November, 7 pm, the Spiegel-correspondent will be a guest of the Kaiserswerther Diakonie at the Hotel MutterHaus. The Kaiserswerther Buchhandlung invites you in cooperation with the association Zukunft durch Industrie e.V. and the support of the Hotel MutterHaus to a keynote speech of Thomas Schulz about his new book. At the subsequent panel discussion he is going to talk about this topic to Thomas Jarzombek, member of the German Bundestag of the party CDU, Frank Löllgen, regional manager North Rhine of IG BCE, and Ralf Peter Reimann of the regional church office Landeskirchenamt of the Evangelische Kirche im Rheinland. The entrance is free with advanced registration requested at geschaeftsstellezukunftdurchindustriede.
