Reading with Melanie Raabe

On Tuesday, 9 May 2017, a reading with Melanie Raabe takes place at the Hotel MutterHaus Düsseldorf

Melanie Raabe was born in 1981 in Jena. Her thriller „Die Falle“ has internationally been one of the most fiercely contested books of the last years. The novel has been sold in 21 countries so far. TriStar Pictures has sealed the movie rights. Melanie Raabe lives and writes in Cologne. „Die Wahrheit“ is her second novel.

Seven years ago the wealthy and secluded living businessman Philipp Petersen vanished without a trace on a South America trip. But then, however, out of nowhere Sarah receives the message that Philipp is alive. The return of the alleged kidnap victim causes a tremendous media attention. Sarah has conflicting feelings, reasonable after all this time. She is prepared for everything but this one thing: The man getting out of the plane is not the man he pretends to be. It is not her husband – it is a stranger.
